Quilt ‘n Bees

Quilt ‘n Bees was made from 100 (2″ x 2″) woodcuts pasted onto handmade Yamaguchi Kozo paper. Each bee was cut and printed from five blocks of basswood plywood before becoming part of the collage. The border of the “quilt” was also carved from several blocks with the printed image then cut and pasted onto the Kozo.
