My Happy Place
Varied 2nd Edition including, "- And Then It Snowed" & " - And Then It Rained"

In 2008 I printed the first edition of "My Happy Place". I don't usually like to do second editions, but after two years, the idea for this variation had me pulling out the old blocks. I made a few prints with with brighter colors, then the fun began. I cut a new block, grabbed my exacto knife and headed to "The Thinking Rock," a rock overlooking my favorite spot which was the inspiration for this print. I merrily cut (slashed) into the detailed keyblock. In the studio, I printed "My Happy Place - And Then It Snowed." Later, I slashed the original background block, the one with the sun, and printed the three blocks to create "My Happy Place - And Then It Rained."
